You wanna know what I think? There's 2 options in my mind: Either Microsoft wanted them to dump this dogshit so they didn't have to have Inexile to make anymore stuff for other consoles, OR Inexile got lazy as fuck and dumped this shitty half baked idea onto the market and filled it to the BRIM with annoying shit to force you to restart and stretch the game time.
I was so sick of it that I almost hard uninstalled W元 from my Xbox. Two STUPID factions, HORRIBLE choices which have no different outcomes, plot contrivances out the ass, and characters that all make the most BONEHEADED decisions I've ever seen in life. I despise literally every character in it, and even the point of the narrative seems to be to annoy the shit out of you. Hey kids? Like cheap ass beginners traps that force you to restart the level so Inexile can artificially stretch the gametime? Like that awful puzzle combat from the end of Steeltown? Let's do that for the entire DLC. Hey kids! Like annoying passive debuffs? HERES AN ENTIRE GAME FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH THEM AND WHERE THATS THE ONLY GIMMICK. Like where do I even start with this shit? From the very beginning, Holy Detonation seems HELLBENT on making you fucking hate it. What the Hell, guys? What the fuck is this? Seriously, I'm not joking or exaggerating when I say this is THE WORST DLC I've ever played in my entire gaming life. Then Steeltown came out and it was fantastic, badass new unique weapons and armors, amazing plot, amazing game play mechanics, and quite a few good twists in the story. Wasteland 3 took a while to get into but when I finally got into the groove I loved it and played it 3 times. As a kid in high school I played wasteland 2 over and over again until I beat it and then I do a playthrough every few months since. Let me start by saying that I love Wasteland 3.
